Responsibilities

  • Research emerging fraud and abuse patterns and translate findings into detection approaches.
  • Build machine learning products for identity, behavioral, and transaction fraud in partnership with customers.
  • Build and optimize real-time, low-latency machine learning infrastructure for reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Develop and maintain pipelines supporting model training, evaluation, and inference.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to productionize models into scalable applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, rigorously tested code using production engineering practices and AI-assisted development tools.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production machine learning systems, data pipelines, and model performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience developing and deploying machine learning models.
  • Strong knowledge of statistics, optimization, probability theory, and experimental methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or Java.
  • Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and scalable computing resources.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and English communication skills.
  • Preferred experience includes fraud detection, risk modeling, end-to-end machine learning systems, APIs, backend services, distributed systems, large datasets, data processing frameworks, and AI-assisted development tools.
