Base Salary
$194k - $233k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop containerized services for a distributed, multi-tenant system processing real-time events and network telemetry from public clouds.
- Design, defend, implement, deploy, and operate services that provide cloud visibility, insights, and security recommendations.
- Own critical features and subsystems across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements clarification through customer deployment and usage.
- Own operational aspects and improve software supportability through hands-on system operation.
- Maintain code quality through early developer testing and functional and integration testing.
- Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.
- Partner with Product Management to refine requirements and exceed customer expectations.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer problems through collaboration with stakeholders and peers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree; a master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 8 years of experience building distributed and scalable software and systems.
- Extensive API-level or programming-level experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Go and SQL.
- Experience with REST API clients.
- Experience delivering containerized services, preferably on Kubernetes.
- Experience in a Unix/Linux programming environment and general TCP/IP networking knowledge.
- Experience with networking and security controls is a plus.
- CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible experience is a plus.
- Applicants must be able to serve in compliance with applicable U.S. export controls.
