Responsibilities
- Work with supply chain, manufacturing, analytical, business, and operations teams to understand planning requirements.
- Design, configure, test, train users on, and deploy demand and supply planning solutions.
- Provide production support for global planning and manufacturing operations.
- Configure and maintain planning master data, including BOMs, resources, location-product data, classifications, and batch-related structures.
- Develop and maintain interfaces between planning systems and ECC/S4 systems.
- Drive continuous improvement and enhance planning capabilities across global manufacturing sites.
- Create functional design specifications and documentation for custom enhancements, BI/Analytics, performance improvements, planning algorithms, CIF integrations, and operational reporting.
- Troubleshoot technical, process, and integration issues and assess SAP-standard versus custom solutions.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of hands-on SAP APO configuration experience in DP, SNP, and PP/DS, or SAP IBP experience in Demand, Supply, Inventory, and S&OP.
- At least two full-lifecycle APO and/or IBP implementations.
- Expertise in statistical forecasting, SNP heuristics and optimization, PP/DS detailed scheduling, supply heuristics, and inventory optimization.
- Strong understanding of master data such as BOMs, resources, PDS/PPM, classifications, and material/batch structures.
- Understanding of integration points across ECC/S4 modules including MM, PP, SD, and FI/CO.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional designs and determine feasibility of SAP-standard versus custom solutions.
- Ability to write detailed functional specifications for planning algorithms, enhancements, CIF integrations, and operational reporting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and leadership.
