Responsibilities
- Research and prototype algorithmic and machine learning approaches to improve eye-tracking accuracy and population coverage.
- Develop computationally efficient, scalable algorithms optimized for resource-constrained, low-power operating modes.
- Navigate ambiguous technical challenges, evaluate alternative solutions, and drive execution with hardware and research teams.
- Contribute to data reprocessing pipelines, visualization tools, and automated test frameworks for testing and quality.
- Define software standards, create technical documentation, and support cross-functional hardware integration and investigations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least five years of experience developing software in C++ and Python and optimizing code for resource-constrained, low-power, or performance-critical edge devices.
- Experience researching and developing algorithms and translating prototypes into scalable, production-ready software.
- Experience with linear algebra, signal processing, or machine learning techniques is preferred.
- Experience with eye-tracking systems, geometric algorithms, or sensor calibration routines is preferred.
- Experience building data analysis tools, visualization dashboards, and data reprocessing pipelines for algorithm evaluation is preferred.
