Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews to ensure coding best practices, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their sources and impacts on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
- Design and implement GenAI solutions, leverage ML infrastructure, and evaluate tradeoffs between techniques and application domains.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience programming in Python or C++.
- At least 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure, including model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, or debugging.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- At least 1 year of experience with state-of-the-art GenAI techniques such as LLMs, multimodal systems, or large vision models, or with GenAI concepts such as language modeling or computer vision.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.

- The position is based in Canada.
- Compensation includes CAD $182,000–$186,000 base pay, a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
