Responsibilities
- Lead customer deployments from discovery through production launch.
- Understand customer workflows, pain points, and business goals and translate them into implementation plans.
- Build, configure, test, and optimize voice AI agents, conversation flows, and automation workflows.
- Integrate Retell with customer systems, APIs, and business processes.
- Troubleshoot integrations, APIs, webhooks, telephony, authentication, and production deployment issues.
- Run customer working sessions, demos, technical discussions, and implementation reviews.
- Coordinate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to resolve issues and communicate product gaps.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and keep deployments moving toward launch.
- Capture deployment learnings and turn them into repeatable playbooks and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to expand Retell into additional use cases and teams.
Requirements
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in consulting, solutions engineering, deployment, implementation, customer success engineering, product management, or another customer-facing technical role.
- Comfort working with APIs, technical integrations, and software systems.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to understand customer businesses and translate requirements into practical solutions.
- Strong organization and ability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously.
- Hands-on technical problem-solving skills and comfort working through ambiguous situations.
- Strong ownership and ability to follow problems through to resolution.
- Interest in AI, LLMs, and voice technology.
- Willingness to travel when needed for customer launches and onsite engagements.
