FIX Onboarding and Connectivity Engineer

Responsibilities
- Onboard proprietary trading desks and external clients to new products, exchanges, and Jane Street trading connectivity.
- Prioritize onboarding and connectivity requests from trading desks.
- Coordinate with developers, infrastructure engineers, trading teams, clients, and external parties.
- Manage onboarding projects through production.
- Navigate the Unix command line and develop code of varying complexity to deliver connectivity projects.
- Suggest improvements to team collaboration, best practices, project delivery, and internal team interfaces.
Requirements
- Proficiency with coding is required, while software engineering experience building applications is highly valued.
- Experience with FIX and other order flow or electronic trading protocols is welcomed but not required.
- Strong coordination and project management skills across multiple stakeholders are required.
- Clear written and verbal communication and strong attention to detail are required.
- Ability to learn complicated and changing systems is required.
- Interest in exchange microstructure and trading systems is desired.
- Fluency in English is required.
