Responsibilities
- Provide presales technical support and assist with opportunity qualification.
- Deliver technical product demonstrations, presentations, and qualification discussions to customers, prospects, and business partners.
- Conduct technical proofs of concept and coordinate technical validation events and POC assets.
- Train partners on product solutions.
- Contribute to technical RFP/RFI responses.
- Participate in conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions as requested.
- Recommend and influence market content.
- Troubleshoot and solve technical problems while handling a high volume of planned and unplanned requests.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of vendor products and general networking technologies.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, UNIX administration, switches, routers, and firewalls in intranet/internet environments.
- Good networking and security knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex technology simply.
- Ability to multitask, follow instructions, request clarification, and interact effectively with all levels of management.
- Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to the needs, concerns, and feelings of others.
