Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve pricing and discount mechanisms for the core product.
  • Improve financial reporting accuracy and payment success rates across payment providers.
  • Expand subscription charging capabilities for greater flexibility and scalability.
  • Work within a small specialized team to support cross-functional product areas and deliver high-quality software.
  • Support Operations with payment-related customer issues and Finance with accurate reporting systems.
  • Maintain asynchronous processing systems and build robust, fault-tolerant software.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of software experience.
  • Preferably experience with Django or similar Python frameworks.
  • Experience monitoring and debugging applications and infrastructure.
  • Experience maintaining asynchronous processing systems using AMQP and Celery.
  • Ability to discuss product vision and features, propose creative solutions, and collaborate within a team.
  • Knowledge of common security practices and familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment.
  • Proficiency with Git.
  • Experience with subscriptions, recurring payments, billing, invoicing, international pricing and tax, or KYC/KYB products and flows is desirable.
