Responsibilities
- Drive architecture decisions for the AI platform infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership in design reviews and ensure production readiness.
- Collaborate with global teams to maintain platform consistency.
- Mentor and elevate the engineering quality of Staff and Senior engineers.
- Engage in hands-on technical work, including writing design docs and building PoCs.
- Contribute to technical hiring and calibrate the hiring bar for AI roles.
- Shape the platform roadmap by translating AI needs into engineering plans.
- Stay current on applied AI trends and integrate them into platform decisions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on platform or infrastructure systems.
- Proven experience in building and operating AI/ML platforms at scale.
- Deep familiarity with modern agent frameworks and agentic tooling ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience with MCP or similar tool-use patterns.
- Strong understanding of security and access control in agentic systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical direction across multiple teams.
- Experience with Python and/or Java, comfortable across backend systems.
- Excellent async-first communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
