Guidewire Developer
Cook SystemsResponsibilities
- Configure and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter using Gosu, PCF, and Product Model.
- Develop policy lifecycle functions for submissions, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements.
- Configure coverages, conditions, exclusions, business rules, validation rules, workflows, and underwriting rules.
- Develop UI screens and support SOAP/REST services, messaging, plugins, and other integrations.
- Perform unit testing, defect resolution, code reviews, performance tuning, batch configuration, and production support.
- Collaborate with business, QA, and architecture teams.
Requirements
- Expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration, with Guidewire Cloud experience preferred.
- Experience with Gosu programming, PCF, Product Model, business rules, validation rules, and workflows.
- Knowledge of SOAP/REST web services and XML.
- Experience with Guidewire Studio and Eclipse, plus basic SQL knowledge.
- Knowledge of property and casualty insurance, personal lines business, and policy administration processes.
- Guidewire Integration Framework, ClaimCenter or BillingCenter, Guidewire Cloud, upgrade experience, performance tuning, and batch configuration are preferred.
- Preferred certifications include Guidewire Certified PolicyCenter Configuration Specialist and Guidewire ACE Certification.
