Responsibilities
- Debug, troubleshoot, and fix production-environment issues in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Provide functional, design, and code reviews within the team and across teams.
- Estimate effort, identify risks, and devise and meet project schedules.
- Automate development-to-deployment workflows to eliminate manual intervention.
- Architect, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, containers, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting.
- Identify broader product and team issues beyond immediate technical details.
Requirements
- 7–11 years of experience.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell.
- Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, networking, Linux container and cluster management, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise architecting and implementing Azure services including VMs, VMSS, Load Balancers, SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Azure Functions, VNets, subnets, DNS, security policies, routing, storage, and Azure AD.
- Experience with high-throughput microservices and deploying, scaling, load balancing, and managing Docker containers with Kubernetes.
- Strong Kubernetes ecosystem experience, including Helm and Skaffold.
- Expertise with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform.
- Experience configuring monitoring and alerting tools including Prometheus and Grafana.
- Understanding of observability and traceability, strong computer fundamentals, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate in Scrum teams, adapt to changing priorities, work independently, and contribute effectively as a team player.
