Base Salary

$174k - $261k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop spatio-temporal machine learning models for detection, multi-sensor fusion, segmentation, and related tasks.
  • Read research literature, analyze raw data, and design state-of-the-art solutions.
  • Transition solutions from the lab to test tracks and public roads for production-level implementation.
  • Collaborate with perception experts and roboticists on algorithm design, prototyping, testing, deployment, and productization.
  • Build and maintain strong software practices and principles.
  • Develop clean, efficient perception-module software that interfaces with other key modules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or a related field.
  • Expert-level machine learning experience with a proven record of developing and deploying deep learning solutions using PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience developing perception systems using cameras, radar, and LiDAR.
  • Strong experience in computer vision, perception, and point cloud processing.
  • Proven experience shipping computer vision software products to industry or consumers.
  • At least five years of development experience in Python and C++.
  • Preferred: Ph.D. focused on machine learning or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: experience developing and deploying temporal computer vision models.
