Base Salary
$90k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Learn wireless fundamentals including signal propagation, interference, scheduler optimization, and resource allocation.
- Read, modify, debug, and write production code with peer review.
- Debug problems on real hardware.
- Analyze field telemetry from a live wireless network.
- Build simulations to evaluate algorithmic ideas before implementation.
- Progress toward owning a scheduler sub-component and proposing algorithmic changes affecting deployed-network performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, probability, linear algebra, and mathematical reasoning, including comfort with proofs.
- Strong programming ability; C++ or C and performance-sensitive programming are preferred, though strength in another language may be considered.
- Evidence of independently building and improving projects beyond assigned coursework.
- Ability to explain reasoning clearly, including areas of uncertainty.
