Base Salary
$124k - $186k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build infrastructure and tooling that enables engineers to write, test, and ship code more effectively.
- Improve CI/CD workflows, development environments, software development lifecycle processes, and infrastructure architecture.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide Slack support for engineering customers.
- Review pull requests and promote quality software engineering practices.
- Write and maintain documentation with clear protocols for other engineers.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, product, SRE, and other engineering teams to solve shared problems.
Requirements
- Demonstrate curiosity, continuous learning, and willingness to adopt new frameworks and technologies as needed.
- Work collaboratively, take direction, and develop toward greater independence.
- Deliver complete, well-tested software with attention to quality.
- Be organized and detail-oriented, with appreciation for testing and documentation.
- Have some exposure to infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform, Chef, or similar tools, or be willing to learn.
- Have familiarity with CI/CD concepts, non-production environments, and software development lifecycle workflows.
