Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable cloud-based Oracle database platforms.
- Develop and enhance automation platforms and tools supporting database operations and reducing manual effort.
- Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and implement automation-based improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Advise application teams on database product selection and performance optimization.
- Provide L4 support for Oracle databases and Exadata Cloud environments.
- Design and maintain database models aligned with business requirements.
- Act as technical lead for database and cloud architecture topics.
Requirements
- Provide architecture and solution design expertise for Oracle database platforms.
- Have strong Oracle DBA expertise, including CRS 11g–23ai and Exadata infrastructure such as Exadata Cloud@Customer and Autonomous.
- Develop and maintain automation using Bash/KSH, Python, Ansible, and database scripting technologies.
- Have solid knowledge of Java, Oracle APEX, Git, and JIRA.
- Understand cloud architecture, data center environments, networking, capacity management, firewall architectures, and enterprise storage architectures.
- Have knowledge of the ITIL framework.
- Have excellent written and spoken English; German is advantageous.
- Demonstrate effective use of AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying responsible judgment to data and AI outputs.
