Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain a native-grade Circuit desktop application for macOS and Windows using Electron or Tauri with Angular and TypeScript.
- Implement desktop integrations including system tray, native notifications, filesystem access, deep linking, global shortcuts, always-on presence, IPC, context isolation, and sandboxing.
- Build AI-driven chat, agent, streaming-response, and human-AI interaction interfaces from Figma designs using REST APIs, Node.js services, and shared design systems.
- Own cross-platform packaging, installers, code signing, macOS notarization, hardened runtime configuration, and differential auto-updates.
- Integrate Swift/Objective-C, C++, and C# native modules as needed and optimize startup time, memory, CPU usage, and native crash behavior.
- Manage local state using SQLite, IndexedDB, and filesystem storage, and deploy supporting services on Google Cloud Platform.
- Build accessibility into dynamic interfaces using WCAG 2.2 AA, ARIA live regions, semantic structure, focus management, keyboard support, and color-contrast practices.
- Collaborate with UX, UI, backend, platform, and quality engineers throughout feasibility, design review, implementation, testing, and release.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with 6+ years of experience, a master’s degree with 4+ years, or a PhD with 1+ year.
- Proficiency in Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, Figma-based implementation, and scalable component-based design systems.
- Experience building and shipping secure production desktop applications for macOS and Windows with Electron or Tauri, including application lifecycles, IPC, and security best practices.
- Experience with cross-platform packaging, code signing, auto-update mechanisms, and deploying services on Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency with Git, Agile development, and advanced accessibility standards for dynamic real-time web interfaces.
- Preferred experience with AI applications, LLM/chatbot/agent interfaces, streaming responses, real-time updates, and WebSockets.
- Preferred native development experience with Swift/Objective-C, C++, C#, and Win32 APIs, plus Electron performance profiling.
- Preferred experience with GitHub Actions-based multi-platform CI/CD, Docker, SQLite, IndexedDB, filesystem storage, and OS accessibility APIs.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and hands-on ownership of complex features and projects.

- Starting salary range is $115,800.00 to $163,200.00, with additional location-specific ranges listed for certain U.S. states and regions.
