Base Salary
$223k - $279k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with product and engineering teams on secure product design and implementation.
- Conduct security reviews, help make product design decisions, and audit existing products for vulnerabilities.
- Build agentic security tooling to identify and address code problems at scale.
- Define and build application security guardrails that enable secure-by-default development.
- Promote a culture of secure development across engineering.
- Assist with incident response, vulnerability management, penetration testing, security reviews, and other security operations.
- Improve the efficiency and scalability of security systems and processes.
Requirements
- Have 2+ years of experience in security and/or software engineering roles, including security-related projects or security generalist responsibilities.
- Demonstrate technical experience building secure platforms and products.
- Have experience or interest in security design and code reviews.
- Be comfortable partnering cross-functionally and working through ambiguous problems.
- Be excited about applying AI to product security and implementing security and privacy technologies.
- Be motivated by Headway’s mission to expand access to mental healthcare.
