Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end AI solutions covering data ingestion, feature engineering, model training and inference, APIs, web applications, and observability.
- Develop responsive front-end applications using React, Angular, or Streamlit with Python/FastAPI back-end services.
- Develop and deploy machine learning and AI models for structured and unstructured data.
- Integrate LLMs, agentic AI capabilities, robotics platforms, AMRs, tool automation systems, control systems, and Micron’s MES ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain Docker-based applications deployed through Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Contribute to CI/CD, monitoring, drift detection, model evaluation, feedback loops, Responsible AI, testing, debugging, documentation, installation, and maintenance.
- Optimize applications and models for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- At least 2 years of experience building and shipping production web or AI applications end to end.
- Experience developing and deploying web applications, APIs, or data-driven solutions.
- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong programming skills in Python and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, plus strong SQL proficiency and relational database experience.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and CI/CD development practices.
- Working knowledge of prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, LLM integration, agentic AI, model evaluation, and Responsible AI practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, learning, and adaptability skills.
- Preferred experience includes semiconductor manufacturing, industrial automation, smart manufacturing, MLOps, machine learning model deployment, enterprise AI applications, MES, Industrial IoT, or equipment automation systems.
