Responsibilities
- Build highly reliable, API-driven payment systems that support global expansion and streamline operational workflows.
- Translate product and design requirements into clean, maintainable, well-tested components.
- Collaborate with product managers, business and operations teams, designers, and back-end engineers.
- Identify and resolve performance, accessibility, and usability issues across the application.
- Contribute to code reviews, shared component libraries, engineering standards, and technical debt management.
- Support the operational health of features and help maintain a high SLA.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with the ability to make changes in TypeScript, React, Go, and Python.
- Proven experience driving technical decisions and owning complex, large-scale engineering problems end-to-end.
- Hands-on experience building scalable architectures with Kafka and Kubernetes for robust integrations.
- Understanding of global payment ecosystems, external banking APIs, and complex operational workflows.
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns, distributed systems, clean code principles, and automated testing strategies.
- Ability to negotiate requirements, improve tooling and processes, and deliver reliable solutions.
