Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical advisor and technical relationship owner for enterprise and strategic customers.
- Build working prototypes, tools, integrations, RAG workflows, and agentic applications using Glean APIs and related technologies.
- Onboard new data sources and implement custom integrations within customer environments and business application architectures.
- Identify and drive expansion opportunities involving AI assistants, agents, and API-driven applications.
- Train and guide customer technical teams so they can manage, support, and extend Glean.
- Troubleshoot customer technical issues through log analysis, code analysis, and end-to-end transaction tracing.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering on product improvements informed by customer engagements.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in Solutions Architecture or related roles.
- Professional customer and internal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex AI and integration concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience planning and executing customer implementation projects.
- Software development experience in at least two of Python, Java, and Go, with regular hands-on coding.
- Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications such as RAG pipelines, chatbots, AI assistants, or agentic workflows using LLMs.
- Experience with APIs and custom data integrations in hybrid or SaaS environments; Indexing, Search, or Chat API experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with LangChain, vector databases, or Model Context Protocol.
- Technical debugging experience including log analysis, code analysis, and end-to-end transaction tracing.
- Deep understanding of cloud and on-premise networking.
- Experience in at least two of Software Engineering, Pre-Sales Engineering, Post-Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Developer Relations, Forward Deployed Engineering, or Technical Customer Delivery.
- Hands-on experience with at least one of Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure.
- Security and audit experience, including the ability to represent product technical and audit frameworks to customer stakeholders.
- Ability to use AI development tools, demonstrate personally built AI projects, debug them live, and explain technical decisions.
- Pre- or post-sales Solutions Architect experience in a product-led company is preferred.
