Responsibilities
- Implement 5G and 6G scheduler functions and 3GPP standards related to RRM, MAC, RLC, and PDCP.
- Develop embedded real-time software for COTS hardware in a Cloud RAN vDU baseband environment.
- Design and implement algorithms for beamforming, massive MIMO, carrier aggregation, dynamic spectrum sharing, scheduling, link adaptation, and power optimization.
- Design unit and multi-component tests, troubleshoot L2 scheduler and baseband issues, and support testing in laboratories, over the air, and in operator networks.
- Perform requirements analysis, system and tools design, documentation, and product feature implementation.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, with a strong background in C++ programming.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++, embedded programming, and debugging.
- Background in computer networks and wireless communications, including 3GPP specifications, RRM, MAC, RLC, PDCP, physical layer, and mobility.
- Familiarity with Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, GitLab, Spinnaker, Linux, Python, MATLAB, Bash, JSON, YAML, XML, and GPB.
- Experience using LLM-based coding assistants and familiarity with reinforcement learning, federated learning, transfer learning, and LLMs.
- Strong test-oriented, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, ownership, and problem-solving skills, with experience in Agile and international multi-site teams.
