Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and optimize Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and Workday Web Services.
- Develop and support PECI/PICOF payroll integrations, benefits carrier feeds, and integrations with ATS, payroll, financial, time-tracking, and time-and-absence systems.
- Build and maintain advanced, matrix, composite, and trending reports, calculated fields, custom report fields, and RaaS reports.
- Develop Discovery Boards, Workday Dashboards, worklets, embedded reports, scorecards, and BIRT-formatted reports.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration failures, reporting issues, scheduled-process errors, and data discrepancies; perform root-cause analysis and improve performance.
- Partner with HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, and Talent teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Maintain documentation covering data mappings, error-handling logic, and support runbooks.
- Apply Workday security and governance practices, including security groups, domain and business-process security policies, and role-based access.
- Support SOX and audit requirements, evidence gathering, access reviews, certification, change-control documentation, and bi-annual Workday releases.
Requirements
- Approximately 4–5 years of Workday integration development experience or equivalent demonstrated capability.
- Proficiency with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Web Services, SOAP/REST APIs, XSLT, XML, and XPath.
- Knowledge of PECI, PICOF, payroll and benefits interface patterns, Workday Business Process Framework, and event-driven configuration.
- Experience integrating Workday with ATS, payroll, financial, time-and-absence, or comparable third-party systems.
- Strong experience with Workday reporting capabilities, including Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and Trending Reports, calculated fields, Report Writer, RaaS, Discovery Boards, dashboards, worklets, embedded reports, scorecards, and BIRT.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot integration and reporting issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in Agile or Kanban delivery environments is valued.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related area is welcomed but not required; equivalent professional experience, technical training, certifications, or demonstrated expertise may be considered.
