Base Salary

$204k - $284k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Reverse engineer complex software and firmware targets across Windows, Linux, embedded systems, and non-traditional architectures.
  • Develop automated reverse engineering, binary analysis, emulation, and dynamic analysis tools.
  • Analyze vulnerabilities and develop weaponized exploits, payloads, implants, patches, and mitigation techniques.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams working on advanced reverse engineering and exploitation programs.
  • Characterize protocols, interfaces, functionality, code flow, data flow, and binary structures.
  • Develop technical proposals, support technical marketing, and document, demonstrate, and present research.
  • Solve cybersecurity problems supporting national security missions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field plus at least 15 years of relevant experience.
  • An MS or PhD with equivalent work experience may also be considered.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
  • Substantial experience leading technical teams on advanced reverse engineering and exploitation programs.
  • Experience with software and firmware binary analysis, vulnerability research, disassembly, debugging without source code, and exploit development.
  • Proficiency in multiple assembly languages, including x86 and ARM, and in one or more programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
  • Experience with IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, or Ghidra; QEMU or AFL++ familiarity is desirable.
  • Preferred experience includes embedded systems, DSP architectures, custom emulation tools, disassembler/decompiler development, operating system internals, protocol analysis, anti-reverse-engineering techniques, and intrusion detection or anti-malware systems.
