Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable test automation and related tools using Python and pytest.
- Create and execute automated test cases for new features and product enhancements.
- Diagnose and debug test failures and work with developers on timely resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test plans and strategies.
- Apply software engineering best practices, Agile methodologies, and Windows Internals knowledge to improve product quality.
- Integrate AI-assisted test generation, intelligent log analysis, automated root-cause detection, and predictive test case selection into test workflows.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in product validation or development, focused on endpoint validation and automation.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming for automation development.
- Strong understanding of Windows OS, Windows Internals, Windows tools, APIs, and application design.
- Experience with pytest and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and emerging AI/LLM-driven testing frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
- Experience with endpoint security products, basic C/C++ knowledge, and computer networking is preferred.
