Responsibilities
- Lead solution development and deployment from design through production.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to refine and implement business and technical requirements.
- Engage clients and internal stakeholders to architect solutions and enhance product functionality.
- Establish and maintain enterprise-grade APIs across services for interoperability and scalability.
- Build Python backend applications in a serverless, cloud-native environment using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and ECS.
- Design and implement scalable systems for high-volume transactions with strong robustness and reliability.
- Apply security best practices throughout development and deployment.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain high software quality standards.
- Provide technical leadership, make architectural decisions, and drive timely delivery.
- Represent software products to stakeholders by providing technical insights and solutions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of related job experience with a broad range of technical skills.
- Strong experience with Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy, TypeScript, and React.
- Advanced PostgreSQL knowledge, including common table expressions, windowing functions, views, stored procedures, and indexing techniques.
- Experience with microservices, API-based applications, distributed caching, cloud delivery, infrastructure as code, AWS, and Terraform.
- Demonstrated ability to improve system scalability and observability while maintaining a security mindset.
- Proficiency with Linux, Bash, Zsh, Python, and Node.js.
- Experience with Git code management, preferably in a monorepository.
- Knowledge of unit testing and integration testing with frameworks such as Playwright.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical client teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- Prior technical lead experience collecting functional and non-functional requirements or strong technical product management experience is a plus.
- Previous Pharmacy Benefits Manager experience is a plus.
