Base Salary
$145k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work with product owners to understand requirements and drive the full software development lifecycle.
- Build simple, extensible software that customers can customize to meet their needs.
- Design and implement new products and features while enhancing the existing product suite.
- Apply data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance and scale considerations.
- Make full-stack architectural decisions across AI integration, server-side rendering, Node.js execution infrastructure, and the ServiceNow Glide platform.
- Raise engineering quality through architecture reviews, code reviews, mentoring, and technical direction.
Requirements
- Completed a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience with deep JavaScript expertise and substantial experience in Java or a similar object-oriented language such as C++, C#, or Go.
- Strong experience with modern UI frameworks including Angular, React, Vue, or Lit.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance and scale considerations.
- Strong experience developing, troubleshooting, and optimizing relational databases.
- Strong experience with server-side rendering and hydration, including isomorphic-rendering failure modes.
- Strong systems-level Node.js experience involving process or worker isolation, HTTP semantics, reverse proxying, and concurrent versioned rollouts.
- Experience working across a JVM/Maven backend and Node.js/TypeScript server-side rendering stack, including ServiceNow Glide platform conventions.
- Experience as a senior individual contributor responsible for code quality and mentoring.
- Preferred experience with multi-target component build systems, Kubernetes service operations, and production observability using Grafana and Prometheus.
