Responsibilities
- Build AI-powered agentic and generative AI applications for commercial, supply chain, manufacturing, and R&D users.
- Develop RAG pipelines using document parsing, chunking, embeddings, hybrid search, and reranking over enterprise content.
- Create domain-specific tools, connectors, and Model Context Protocol servers for ERP, planning, analytics, content management, and custom APIs.
- Build chat interfaces, approval workflows, and result-review screens using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Teams apps, Streamlit, or React.
- Implement schema checks, business-rule validation, content safety, PII handling, and confirmation controls for write operations.
- Partner with product owners and subject-matter experts to gather requirements, prototype solutions, demonstrate applications, and iterate on feedback.
- Deploy, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot applications on Azure AI Foundry or Container Apps with tracing and logging.
- Develop prompt-engineering and LLM evaluation processes, including test cases, LLM-as-judge evaluations, and regression tracking.
- Document use cases, tools, and playbooks and collaborate through code reviews, pair programming, and shared technical standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software development or data/analytics engineering experience, including recent hands-on LLM or AI-powered application work.
- Strong Python proficiency and comfort with TypeScript or JavaScript for front-end development.
- Working knowledge of at least one of LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
- Practical experience with Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or Hugging Face APIs and structured outputs.
- Hands-on RAG experience with document parsing, chunking, embeddings, hybrid retrieval, and at least one vector database.
- Experience integrating ERP, BI, SharePoint, Microsoft Graph, Teams, REST, or GraphQL services.
- Solid SQL skills and familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, or an equivalent modern data platform.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, stakeholder-demo, and requirements-gathering skills.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and basic DevOps workflows.
- Preferred qualifications include Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility, Power Platform, Azure AI Foundry agents, Palantir AIP Logic or Workshop, MCP, tool/function calling, prompt registries, LLM observability and evaluation tools, Docker, Terraform, Bicep, and business application delivery in process industries, manufacturing, supply chain, or commercial analytics.
- A public portfolio such as GitHub projects, technical blog posts, or community contributions demonstrating generative or agentic AI experimentation is preferred.
