Responsibilities
- Design, develop, improve, and deliver scalable, maintainable, high-performance software solutions.
- Build and manage robust, secure infrastructure and deployment pipelines for digital solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other functions to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, mentoring, and technical decision-making.
- Implement unit testing and secure coding practices to improve software reliability and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Develop and deploy containerized applications using OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Manage risk, strengthen controls, and contribute to technology policies and governance.
- Analyze complex information, communicate technical matters, and influence stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate, and test-driven development.
- Hands-on experience with ReactJS, Redux, JavaScript, HTML5, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, SQL, and NoSQL database technologies.
- Experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, SonarQube, Wiz, Prisma, Maven/Gradle, and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with IBM MQ, Kafka, or similar event-driven messaging platforms.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams within banking or financial services.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Preferred experience leading development teams, conducting code reviews, mentoring, and making technical decisions.
- Preferred knowledge of payment systems, corporate banking, lending, transaction banking, observability, monitoring, application security, microservices modernization, Domain Driven Design, event-driven architecture, and API-led integrations.
