Base Salary

$151k - $281k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and own the full surgical robot simulation, including dynamics, sensors, actuators, and product-stack interfaces.
  • Test real robot software and firmware against simulated hardware.
  • Create automated simulation tests covering scenarios, regressions, fault injection, and coverage.
  • Make simulation runs deterministic, measurable, and efficient enough for continuous integration.
  • Reproduce hardware failures in simulation to accelerate verification timelines.
  • Gather user feedback and iterate on the simulation quickly.

Requirements

  • Strong Rust skills and Python experience for test tooling and analysis.
  • Experience with robotics or physics simulation, such as MuJoCo, Isaac Sim, Gazebo, or equivalent tools.
  • Experience with asynchronous and concurrent systems, hardware interfaces, RPC, and telemetry.
  • Experience building automated integration tests and debugging failures across software and firmware.
  • Bazel experience is a plus.
  • Ability to use AI agents to accelerate development while maintaining quality.
  • Evidence of exceptional abilities and a strong drive to succeed.
