Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Data Cloud using Apex, LWC, Aura, Flow, and Salesforce configuration.
- Build Experience Cloud sites with templates, audience targeting, CMS content, community roles, and sharing rules.
- Design hybrid declarative and programmatic solutions while managing governor-limit considerations, custom objects, data models, and sharing architecture.
- Develop and maintain REST and SOAP integrations with external systems using Named Credentials and Connected Apps.
- Configure Data Cloud data streams, data model objects, identity resolution rulesets, unified customer profiles, segments, calculated insights, and activation targets.
- Design Agentforce agents and integrate Einstein capabilities such as Next Best Action, Case Classification, and Copilot into Salesforce workflows.
- Own Salesforce DX, Git, and Copado CI/CD pipelines, including branch strategies, quality gates, scratch-org strategy, unlocked packages, and metadata conflict resolution.
- Use CodeScan and PMD as automated code-quality gates and author deployment runbooks, rollback plans, and environment promotion documentation.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce SFDX standards, create technical design documents, and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies and collaborate with analysts, QA, product owners, integration teams, architects, data teams, and business stakeholders from requirements through production support.
Requirements
- At least eight years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in production environments, excluding primarily administrative or configuration work.
- Deep Sales Cloud expertise including opportunity management, CPQ basics, forecasting, and custom automation.
- Deep Service Cloud expertise including case management, Omni-Channel routing, entitlements, CTI/SCV integrations, and knowledge base configuration.
- Experience with Experience Cloud site configuration, audience targeting, community sharing, CMS, and LWC.
- Working knowledge of Data Cloud data streams, data model objects, identity resolution, segments, and activation.
- Expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and Flow, including reviewing and rewriting complex Apex logic.
- Proficiency with Salesforce DX, Git, and Copado for CI/CD pipeline ownership.
- Experience using VS Code with the Salesforce Extension Pack as the primary IDE.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, field-level security, and OWDs.
- Experience with REST and SOAP integrations using Named Credentials and external services.
- Ability to maintain Apex test classes consistently above 85% code coverage.
- Experience operating large Salesforce orgs with high record volumes, multiple sandboxes, and governor-limit management.
- At least two listed Salesforce certifications are required at hire, including options such as Salesforce Platform Developer I or II, Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant, Salesforce AI Associate or Agentforce Specialist, and Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant.
- Preferred qualifications include Agentforce, Data Cloud identity resolution and unified profile activation, OmniStudio, Copado Robotic Testing or Provar, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, Salesforce Event Monitoring, and Jira and Confluence experience.
