Base Salary
$204k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the Render Postgres fleet.
- Collaborate closely with design, product, and other engineers.
- Evolve and mature the Render Postgres product as it scales.
- Participate in team planning, roadmapping, and goal-setting.
- Help shape team culture and practices.
- Evolve the Postgres product with new capabilities.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience shipping software.
- Experience collaborating with product and design stakeholders.
- Strong sense of ownership and pragmatic decision-making.
- Comfort with working in a distributed system.
- Experience operating Postgres at scale.
- Familiarity with modern tooling for software build and deploy processes.
