Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of software development, from requirements and implementation through testing and operations.
- Design, integrate, and improve end-to-end software solutions for satellite flight software and ground AWS services.
- Develop secure communications software for power management, hardware interfaces, command and telemetry, and autonomous control.
- Design and implement large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
- Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design solutions.
- Contribute to coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations across the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ years of object-oriented design experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or person granted asylum due to applicable export-control laws and regulations.

- Base salary range of $143,700.00–$194,400.00 USD annually, plus potential sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
