Base Salary
$158k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and operate high-performance, low-latency, highly available distributed services for Prime Video content discovery.
- Develop content aggregation, storefront orchestration, rule-engine, and platform capabilities serving Prime Video customers worldwide.
- Build customer-facing onboarding features and improve operational excellence for Tier-1 filtering services.
- Contribute to storefront architecture and design scalable, long-term solutions.
- Collaborate with Prime Video teams and influence the broader technical ecosystem.
- Participate in the software development life cycle, including coding, testing, deployment, and operations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- 1+ year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ year of Object Oriented Design experience.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
