Responsibilities
- Develop Guidewire PolicyCenter features and configurations, including batches, UI changes, message queues, web service integrations, page configuration files, and unit tests.
- Complete development stories during two-week sprints and meet frequent deployment deadlines.
- Build APIs and digital applications using Mulesoft, React, or Node.js.
- Integrate with web services using Postman, SOAP, and REST.
- Triage production tickets, troubleshoot issues, review logs, fix bugs, and participate in on-call support.
- Design or execute testing plans and support testing stories.
- Present code reviews and completed sprint work to developers, product owners, stakeholders, and larger forums.
Requirements
- Experience working in a production environment and on an Agile team or with Agile concepts.
- Extensive experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL, Gosu, IntelliJ, and Guidewire Studio.
- Prior Guidewire experience is preferred, particularly Guidewire PolicyCenter integration and configuration experience.
- Ability to use Mulesoft to build APIs and React or Node.js to work on digital applications.
- Understanding of Postman, SOAP, and REST for web service integration.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts and present to groups of 20 or more people.
- Must live within 50 miles of Coppell, Texas.
