Base Salary

$150k - $245k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build new web-platform features that help farmers understand their data
  • Develop frontend, backend, UI/UX, and database functionality
  • Ship scalable software that analyzes hundreds of millions of fruit records
  • Process and manage fruit data at billion-record scale
  • Iterate quickly based on customer feedback
  • Maintain and develop cloud infrastructure
  • Optimize queries and calculations for datasets containing millions of fruit records at a time

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience building production-quality web applications at scale
  • Comfort with Google Cloud, React, Python, Flask, and PostgreSQL
  • Ability to work across the full software stack, including frontend, backend, UI/UX, databases, and cloud infrastructure
  • Ability to work autonomously, move quickly, learn unfamiliar areas, and persist through challenges
  • Prior experience with large-scale data web applications is a bonus
  • Experience building bespoke RESTful APIs is a bonus
  • Experience with GIS data and systems is a bonus
  • Experience with data security and permissions management is a bonus
