Base Salary
$150k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build new web-platform features that help farmers understand their data
- Develop frontend, backend, UI/UX, and database functionality
- Ship scalable software that analyzes hundreds of millions of fruit records
- Process and manage fruit data at billion-record scale
- Iterate quickly based on customer feedback
- Maintain and develop cloud infrastructure
- Optimize queries and calculations for datasets containing millions of fruit records at a time
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building production-quality web applications at scale
- Comfort with Google Cloud, React, Python, Flask, and PostgreSQL
- Ability to work across the full software stack, including frontend, backend, UI/UX, databases, and cloud infrastructure
- Ability to work autonomously, move quickly, learn unfamiliar areas, and persist through challenges
- Prior experience with large-scale data web applications is a bonus
- Experience building bespoke RESTful APIs is a bonus
- Experience with GIS data and systems is a bonus
- Experience with data security and permissions management is a bonus
