Responsibilities
- Collaborate on implementation approaches for enterprise web applications leveraging blockchain technology.
- Deliver functional application scope while meeting established quality standards.
- Support solution engineering efforts and stakeholder requirements.
- Apply design patterns and best practices for enterprise web and web3 applications.
- Maintain technical documentation for code and applications.
- Identify, resolve, and escalate issues to support timely, on-budget, high-quality delivery.
- Work effectively with distributed engineering teams and technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience developing backend web applications using Java Spring.
- Experience across the full software development and testing lifecycle.
- Experience with asynchronous programming and communication in web applications.
- Familiarity with reliability, scalability, and performance practices for web applications.
- Hands-on experience building enterprise-grade web applications and delivering commercial software products of increasing complexity.
- Working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, testing, code reviews, and maintainable code.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering; a master’s degree in computer science or a related discipline is a plus.
- Familiarity with web3 application development, Web3J, Web3JS, Solidity, DevOps basics, containerized applications, Agile methodology, and Scrum is advantageous.
- Experience in financial services is advantageous.
- Working knowledge of Git, Jira, Jenkins, Helm Charts, and related deployment and application-management tools.
