Responsibilities

Implement and support improvements that increase efficiency, software quality, and delivery speed.
Work across development, QA, IT Operations, Infosec, and UCD teams to apply DevOps best practices.
Create, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.
Manage containers and containerization using Kubernetes and Helm.
Build automation scripts in Python and support infrastructure as code with Terraform.
Monitor systems to maintain reliability and performance.
Manage database schema changes and support architecture and integration activities.
Translate business requirements into technical implementations and facilitate business knowledge.
Negotiate with and influence stakeholders to ensure services run effectively and work is prioritized appropriately.

At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
Strong knowledge of AWS and experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Practical experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm.
Experience with Python scripting and automation.
Experience with multiple database ecosystems, architecture, and integration.
Experience with monitoring tools for system reliability and performance.
Experience with Jenkins, Liquibase, and GitOps principles.
A proactive mindset focused on automation, monitoring, continuous improvement, and best-practice definition.
Willingness to travel.
Right to work in the UK.
Ability to attain UK Security Clearance.
