Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable software solutions and production code.
  • Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation while validating outputs.
  • Analyze and visualize large, diverse datasets to identify patterns and improve coding hygiene, applications, and system architecture.
  • Apply software development lifecycle tools and automation capabilities to improve engineering effectiveness.
  • Guide peers on responsible AI usage, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security practices.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
  • Extensive Java experience and experience developing, debugging, and maintaining Java and SQL code in a large corporate environment.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating, validating, and refining their outputs.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, software development lifecycle practices, and secure and resilient engineering.
  • Preferred qualifications include familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript, GCP, IAM, identity-provider platforms, PingFederate, Kubernetes, Docker, and Kafka.
