Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and provide post-release support for Salesforce Government Cloud platform services and internal infrastructure tools.
- Build and optimize AWS infrastructure, compute capacity, Kubernetes deployments, and reusable infrastructure automation.
- Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot or reproduce issues in production environments.
- Improve service availability, performance, resiliency, monitoring, alerting, and security compliance for government customer environments.
- Transform manual processes into automated governance solutions and maintain detailed technical documentation.
- Evaluate human- and AI-generated code for correctness, quality, security, and performance.
- Design systems in which AI agents integrate into human workflows and maintain shared system context for reliable AI operation.
- Research, select, and create tools while collaborating with infrastructure teams, developers, open-source contributors, and architects.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship, operation on U.S. soil, and ability to meet applicable customer and government screening standards, including CJIS fingerprint screening.
- At least 3 years of experience deploying distributed containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, including EKS or GKE.
- At least 3 years of experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management using Terraform and/or Ansible.
- At least 3 years of Linux system engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of experience developing or managing infrastructure and application security for highly sensitive customer data and environments, including IAM, CI/CD, and PKI.
- At least 3 years of experience deploying with a CI orchestration service such as Spinnaker or Jenkins.
- At least 2 years of experience with Shell, Python, or Golang scripting or programming.
- Proven expertise building and optimizing AWS infrastructure, including TCP/IP networking, transit gateways, VPCs, security groups, and route tables.
- Experience with log management and analytics tools such as Splunk or ELK.
- A demonstrated AI-first engineering approach, experience using AI development tools, and advanced prompt engineering and system-context skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and continuous-learning abilities.
- Preferred experience with production service management, on-call or PagerDuty rotations, service-level monitoring, Grafana, Prometheus, and security or compliance tools such as OPA, Checkov, Twistlock, or Prisma.
