Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Develop and deploy new ML and LLM models for Google, advertisers, and users.
- Solve complex, open-ended engineering problems involving ad relevance, query understanding, and large-scale system optimization.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing effects on hardware, networks, service operations, and quality.
- Implement solutions in specialized ML areas and contribute to ML infrastructure, model optimization, and data processing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience programming in Python or C++.
- At least 1 year of experience with generative AI, reinforcement learning, large language modeling, model processing, or another ML specialization.
- At least 1 year of experience with end-to-end machine learning, including model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, or debugging.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
