Responsibilities
- Conduct hands-on manual investigation and troubleshooting of functional issues in backend systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions to streamline manual processes.
- Evaluate existing test automation frameworks, identify gaps, and implement additional automated test cases.
- Perform exploratory testing of new features, analyzing requirements and potential risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans and defect reports.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA Engineering with a focus on backend systems.
- Proven experience managing the full testing lifecycle, including test planning and automation script development.
- Strong hands-on experience in Unix/Linux environments.
- Proficiency in scripting and test automation using Python and Bash, with at least 3 years of experience.
- Solid experience testing backend applications, including APIs and microservices.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of issues.
- Excellent communication skills in English for articulating findings to stakeholders.
