Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot backend services, agentic workflows, APIs, and end-to-end user-facing functionality.
  • Build microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud for service discovery, configuration, and resilience.
  • Containerize and deploy applications on AWS using ECS, EKS, Lambda, and EC2.
  • Implement and maintain AWS infrastructure as code and apply cloud-native and 12-factor application practices.
  • Apply reactive programming paradigms to build high-performance and resilient systems.
  • Design and execute performance and load tests with JMeter or BlazeMeter, using results to tune and optimize systems.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, release automation, observability, and production troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Design and integrate agent-to-UI interactions and troubleshoot distributed, multi-agent environments.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability in production environments.
  • Backend experience with Java 21, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud, including microservices and resilience patterns.
  • Frontend experience with TypeScript and JavaScript delivering functionality across user interfaces and APIs.
  • AWS cloud and infrastructure experience using infrastructure as code, including Lambda, S3, and Kafka-based integrations.
  • Experience with reactive programming, cloud-native engineering, and 12-factor application principles.
  • Performance and load testing experience using JMeter or BlazeMeter.
  • CI/CD and release automation experience with Jules or Spinnaker.
  • Observability and operational troubleshooting experience using Splunk and Dynatrace.
  • Data-layer experience with Cassandra, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and ElastiCache or similar caching solutions.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools and responsible AI usage in engineering workflows.
  • Preferred: experience with agent-to-UI interactions, agent-to-agent protocols, distributed multi-agent environments, and Python for production services and tooling.
