Responsibilities
- Ensure high availability of datastores through observability, automation, and process improvement.
- Handle database infrastructure maintenance including upgrades and performance optimization.
- Empower feature teams with database tooling, guidelines, and training.
- Participate in incident response for datastore-related issues during business hours.
- Stay updated with datastore technology and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Database Reliability Engineer, SRE, or DBA with strong database expertise.
- Strong expertise in at least one core datastore (PostgreSQL, Couchbase, or OpenSearch).
- Hands-on experience with Kafka or equivalent technology.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud environments.
- Fluency in English.
