Base Salary
$80k - $100k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and manage source code for Java enterprise applications.
- Develop automated tests and support quality development practices including unit testing and refactoring.
- Create and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment environments.
- Track issues and work with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Identify, define, and analyze legacy and emerging systems and software designs.
- Develop REST web services in Java and design large-scale enterprise implementations.
- Potentially lead proposals and projects and promote new architecture tools, processes, and techniques.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with Java and Java EE.
- Experience with Spring, Hibernate, Kafka, Docker, OpenShift, relational databases, SQL queries, stored procedures, and data modeling.
- Experience with Apache Tomcat and REST web services in Java.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes or OpenShift and cloud and container technologies.
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
- Ability to design enterprise-wide, large-scale implementations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related work experience.
- Preferred experience includes Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, npm, JavaScript frameworks, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, XML, JSON, AJAX, Visual Basic macros, SAS, ETL processes, and Qlik reporting.
