Lead -PDM Developer
Schneider ElectricResponsibilities
- Analyze user requirements and business problems, evaluate technical feasibility, and translate them into technical stories, tasks, and estimates.
- Develop features across application subsystems, including requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Customize and configure Windchill PDMLink using workflows, listeners, DataUtilities, validators, lifecycles, OIRs, events/listeners, and form processors.
- Investigate technology improvements, upgrades, patches, and modifications, and manage server configurations across Windows and Linux environments.
- Develop web services and integrations, including RESTful APIs, webjects, and downstream ERP integrations with SAP.
- Analyze and resolve active production incidents and deliver work according to established processes and quality standards.
- Coordinate status communication with stakeholders through summary reports, dashboards, service registers, and logs.
- Mentor and guide junior and new team members, conduct peer code reviews, and oversee development and testing at scrum-team level.
- Create technical write-ups, architecture diagrams, deployment diagrams, solution integrations, and estimates.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience customizing, configuring, and developing Windchill PDMLink, including Windchill 11.0 or later.
- Hands-on knowledge of Windchill PLM modules and concepts, including BOM management, change management, part management, part lifecycles, ESI configurations, PDF publishing, CAD management, worker agents, visualization services, PartsLink classification, attributes, IBAs, and enumerations.
- Core Java and J2EE programming experience using object-oriented concepts for server- and client-side web applications.
- Experience developing RESTful web services and writing webjects.
- Experience integrating Windchill with downstream ERP systems such as SAP PO/PI and SAP APD.
- Experience with Oracle databases and SQL Developer, including queries, joins, procedures, functions, indexes, and sequences.
- Experience using Eclipse, NetBeans, or equivalent IDEs.
- Experience with source code management, version management, and DevOps practices using tools such as RTC ClearCase, Git, RTC SCM, or Subversion.
- Exposure to Agile development and at least one change-management or ALM tool, such as RTC CCM, VersionOne, or Integrity.
- Experience with server configuration management, peer code reviews, technical documentation, architecture and deployment diagrams, solution integrations, and estimations.
- Experience with data migration and ETL processes using WBM is preferred.
- Exposure to Windchill SUMA, Service Information Manager, Translation Management, Supplier Collaboration, and ThingWorx Navigate dashboarding is preferred.
- Any graduation-level education is required.
