Responsibilities
- Build and deploy production services and features from prototype through release.
- Use AI tools and automation to accelerate coding, testing, and deployment.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and improve systems operating at billions of transactions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and senior Builders to ship revenue-driving features.
- Deliver a measurable contribution to the engineering team by the end of the residency.
Requirements
- Software engineering experience through internships, personal projects, open-source work, hackathons, or similar activities.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and clean, tested code.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, TypeScript, Java, or C#.
- Evidence of building and shipping a real project, product, or tool used by others.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding tools to build software.
- Ability to work in fast-paced teams and continuously improve processes.
- Availability to work full time onsite in New York for the complete 18-week residency.
