Responsibilities
- Administer and enhance Okta, including SSO, MFA, and complex Lifecycle Management strategies.
- Develop automated identity workflows for onboarding, offboarding, and access governance using Okta Workflows, REST APIs, and identity orchestration tools.
- Implement Zero Trust architecture and Role-Based Access Control policies across the organization.
- Evaluate and technically onboard SaaS tools while ensuring security, compliance, and integration standards.
- Collaborate with InfoSec, HRIS, and business units on identity platform strategy and requirements.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and escalation for complex platform issues.
- Contribute to enterprise systems roadmaps, tool selection, and operational improvement initiatives.
- Author technical standards, configurations, and procedural runbooks for audit, compliance, and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in enterprise IT or systems engineering, including at least 2 years of hands-on Okta administration.
- Strong command of SSO protocols including SAML, OIDC, and OAuth.
- Experience integrating and securing major SaaS platforms in a high-growth, regulated environment.
- Proficiency with Python, PowerShell, Postman, and Okta Workflows for scripting and automation.
- Expertise working with REST APIs for complex system integration and data orchestration.
- Extensive experience in Agile, sprint-based environments using Jira.
- Okta Certified Professional or Administrator certification is relevant, with Okta Certified Consultant preferred.
- Familiarity with identity governance tools, privileged access management, Terraform, ITSM frameworks, and service delivery processes is preferred.
- Ability to mentor others and contribute to architectural discussions.
