Responsibilities
- Break larger projects into tasks, deliver them in phases, and collaborate to ensure timely delivery
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics on ideation, technical constraints, risks, and trade-offs
- Build scalable systems and data pipelines that support accurate and timely consumer credit reporting
- Create and monitor metrics, escalate issues, and support system availability and on-call operations
- Participate in team growth and development activities, including interviewing
Requirements
- At least 1.5 years of experience as a software engineer
- Experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems
- Proficiency in Python or Kotlin
- Familiarity with distributed systems, AWS, MySQL, and Spark
- Ability to translate business problems into solutions spanning multiple software components
- Ability to write clear, well-tested, and extensible code
- Comfort navigating large codebases, debugging code, and conducting code reviews
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
