Base Salary
$293k - $385k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship developer-facing APIs and backend services.
- Architect low-latency streaming and model integration systems.
- Collaborate with Research to bring new model capabilities into production.
- Ensure availability, latency, scalability, and cost efficiency of services.
- Manage projects from technical design through launch and iteration.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in backend, infrastructure, or product engineering roles.
- Experience designing and operating production backend services or distributed systems.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience leading complex projects.
- Proficiency in backend languages such as Python, Go, Rust, or TypeScript.
- Experience with reliable, scalable systems and distributed architecture.
- Product judgment and developer empathy to create intuitive APIs.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- A strong sense of ownership and comfort with ambiguity.
